Where do I start? So I took my car to them to have my door fixed due to it being bent during a Vegas windstorm. When I took my car to get repaired, it was running perfectly fine. After two weeks of waiting, I go to pick up my car and I’m told to keep it running because the battery was dead. Also that the “check engine” light was reset but it was because of the battery being dead. When I left the shop, driving home, my car alerted me that it was over-heating. I called the shop right away and was told to go back so they could scan it. A code popped up saying something about the engine coolant module but they assured me that my car was fine and to keep driving it until the battery’s charge to 12v. Well after driving it towards Fresno, my car literally overheated and left me stranded on the freeway. I’ve had my car towed twice and now Golden State is saying that it’s not their fault at ALL! I blew the head gasket out. My car is garbage at this point. I had my insurance call and speak with Mike, he shared a few new and interesting details about my car… how when they first drove it, they noticed it wasn’t driving well and how it also got scanned and it had a code during the diagnostic; something about the catalytic converter. Don’t you think it would’ve been appropriate to tell me about this when I picked up my car that Friday?! Instead I was told that my car was fine and to drive it to recharge the battery and how everything would reset and fix itself once my battery was recharged. The initial repair had nothing to do with this problem, but their negligence to disconnect the battery, could’ve prevented any of this from happening to begin with. I got my car brand new, and have never had a single problem with my car. Shame on Golden State for not having accountability and for not making things right when this could’ve been prevented from the start and shame on Mike for treating me like less then a customer and laughing at me when I told you I’d be telling State Farm how you didn’t want to make things right… what did you laugh and say… “Tell State Farm to pull my contract with Golden State” So unprofessional! Please save yourself a headache and a financial burden and don’t use Golden State.

Also they’ve failed to admit that they had fault in this ordeal and instead made up lies about how they told me not to drive my car.

I appreciate how German Lopez kept me informed as busy as they were while I was waiting to go into the shop cause I was on the list and as soon as things lightened up he got me into your shop worked well with State Farm the other persons insurance to get the work done in a timely manner and using a rental car it all went smooth and everyone that works there were friendly and helpful Thank you for the great service.😊👍
