With more than 50 years experience in collision repair and convenient locations in Augusta, GA, Evans, GA, Martinez, GA, Thomson, GA Cushman Paint and Body is the CSRA's premier collision repair center! Founder Jimmy Cushman started his business in a two-bay collision repair shop in rural Columbia County while working as an employee at another body shop. He and a few family and friends restored old cars and painted golf cars for Club Car. Back in those days, special order colors were hand painted and the Cushman team painted thousands. With the support his wife Ann, and a nudge from family members, Jimmy quit his job, put up a big sign on Washington Road and formally opened Cushman Paint and Body in 1988. With help from sons Scott and Edward and Kenny Convington, Cushman has grown into one of Georgia's largest collision repair companies.

Very nice people to work with, does good work, I believe they have some honest mechanics doing their work, because I forgot some items that a lot of people would steal, I left in truck, and it was still in my truck when I got it back, Cushman must be paying them well, and if not I pray that they will appreciate good people and treat them accordingly. May Gob continue to bless this business.

Cushman’s customer service is exceptional! The bodywork/paint job was perfect. I hope that I don’t have another fender bender…but if I do…Cushman is the only body shop that I will let work on my SUV(s)!

Cushman’s Paint & Body was seriously amazing! They kept me updated every step of the way, and my car looks fantastic. They were delayed by one day, which was completely understandable and honestly expected with this type of repair. One thing that really stood out to me was getting my car back washed and vacuumed. It may seem like a small thing, but it made such a huge impression and really showed the extra care they put into their work. The entire experience was great from start to finish, and I would recommend Cushman’s 1,000 times over! So happy to have my car back looking like new!
