With more than 50 years experience in collision repair and convenient locations in Augusta, GA, Evans, GA, Martinez, GA, Thomson, GA Cushman Paint and Body is the CSRA's premier collision repair center! Founder Jimmy Cushman started his business in a two-bay collision repair shop in rural Columbia County while working as an employee at another body shop. He and a few family and friends restored old cars and painted golf cars for Club Car. Back in those days, special order colors were hand painted and the Cushman team painted thousands. With the support his wife Ann, and a nudge from family members, Jimmy quit his job, put up a big sign on Washington Road and formally opened Cushman Paint and Body in 1988. With help from sons Scott and Edward and Kenny Convington, Cushman has grown into one of Georgia's largest collision repair companies.

I didn’t hesitate at all on where to take my car to be repaired. Several years ago, I owned 2014 Chevy Malibu and was rear ended on Washington Road. I didn’t think the damage was bad from just looking at the car. On the way home, I remember talking to one of my preschool’s parent with last name Cushman. So, I decided to give them a try. The location was convenient for me because I was only five minutes away from work. Upon inspection, I learned that my car had previously been in an accident. My husband and I were both shocked. The car fax didn’t say anything about a previous accident. The inspector said that he could tell by the body work and the difference in the paint colors. Cushman reassured me that he would make the process smooth and stress free for me. Cushman delivered!! And here we are years later with damages to my Honda Accord from a deer. Way to go Bambi!! Ms. Brianna met with me and inspected my car when I arrived. The damages were to the fender and hood. She also explained to me that there may be more damages done underneath the hood after a complete inspection of the vehicle and it was. Ms. Olivia took down all of my information and kept updated on the repairs of my car. Mr. Chip would informed me of any problems that he and his team would face while repairing my car through text messages and/ or voicemails. Cushman Paint and Body did an EXCELLENT job on repairing my car. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to LAKEISHA ( THE REAL OWNER😉)
