I own a 2024 Tesla Model Y and ended up with a big dent in the lower panel of the liftgate. I first took it to a paintless dent repair shop in Tacoma. They were able to pull the dent out without painting, but the body line never fully returned to its original shape. They then painted the area, and contamination left visible dimples in the clear coat that really bothered me. I was lucky to find Kent Auto Body Experts after seeing their strong reviews. I stopped by for a quote, and Mike came out of the shop to greet me. He provided a very fair estimate—I’m confident Tesla would have charged significantly more. Mike was not only friendly and clearly knowledgeable, but he’s also a Tesla owner himself, which made me feel much more comfortable leaving my car with them. Mike and the team at Kent Auto Body Experts fixed my liftgate and exceeded my expectations. They even repaired a scratch under the bumper that I hadn’t mentioned. The paintwork is excellent and blended perfectly with the rest of the car. I highly recommend Kent Auto Body Experts to other Tesla owners—at least get a quote from them. You won’t be disappointed.
