I had my MKX in for body work on Monday, June 1st. I received it back on Friday. I THOUGHT the work would be complete; it was not. Overall, the bulk of the repair because of the Car Wash Arm failure and striking my MKX was repaired, luckily my window was not open, or I would have visited the Hospital up the road. Let me preface by stating Carl was very pleasant and helpful. I will refrain from giving my comments on Joe Clark. After Carl had the MKX in the details shop to follow up for the scratch missed I noticed they did not buff what the body shop missed. Carl came out and after a few minutes removed the scratch with a compound. I then noticed my windshield wiper spray was not working. I thought there was over spray when they repainted the MKX. Joe informed me that it was not possible and asked me if I had fluid. I just had my $90 oil change and assumed it was filled. RELUCTANTLY Joe filled, actually OVER filled, with the overage going all over the engine compartment. Carl noticed the hood padding was wet and suggested the line was rotted or crimped. That made sense to me. I made the earliest appointment with Autumn for NEXT Monday. I have extended warranty and hope this will be covered.
