Communication was non existent. I had to initiate all correspondence on the status of the vehicle. Apparently some aftermarket products were not properly sourced to ensure they were compatible with what needed to be repaired. It took almost 6 weeks to complete the repairs when there was not even a requirement for any painting. I would not recommend this collision service and have relayed this to my insurance provider so they can evaluate whether to continue utilizing Leo Martin as a preferred center.

It took 6 weeks to repair my vehicle. I had to initiate all communication on the status of my vehicle and never received a follow up call after my calls. The purchasing agent appears to not do due diligence on the aftermarket parts as apparently these parts were not appropriate or missing parts. I will not be using Leo Martin on any future repairs.

Dear General Manager, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent service visit at Leo Martin Chevrolet involving my 2024 Corvette, which I purchased from your dealership. What should have been a routine oil change turned into a very frustrating experience. We brought the vehicle in for service, and when we returned to pick it up after the storm the previous night, the interior of the car was soaked. The rear seat cloth material was wet, and the carpeting was saturated with water. When I raised the issue, the service manager stated that “we had a monsoon last night” and suggested the seals would be checked under warranty. Quite honestly, I found that response insulting. We leave this vehicle outside during rainstorms regularly and have never experienced any water intrusion issues whatsoever. In order for the cloth material in the center of the seats to become soaked, the surrounding red leather would also have had visible water on it. There is no reasonable way for only the center material to become saturated unless someone wiped off or cleaned up visible water afterward. I do not know exactly how the interior became wet, but I am confident it was not caused by defective seals. I believe it would have been far more appropriate for someone to simply admit that a mistake may have occurred — whether windows were left down or the top was not fully secured — rather than immediately shifting responsibility toward a possible warranty issue. To make matters worse, after leaving the dealership, I began hearing a noise that sounded like water running inside the vehicle. Even after driving to the gas station and returning to the dealership, the noise continued — including while the car was turned off. Fortunately, my service advisor, Caleb, was professional, courteous, and assured me he would help get the issue addressed. However, my concern extends beyond simply drying out the vehicle today. If the carpets or insulation were saturated, who will be responsible later if mold develops, odors occur, electrical issues arise, or corrosion/rust appears over time? Those are very real concerns in a high-end vehicle like a Corvette. Additionally, because of this situation, my wife had to drive 30 minutes back to the dealership to pick me up, creating additional inconvenience that should never have happened during a simple oil change appointment. This is now the second Corvette I have purchased from your dealership, but I can honestly say it may be my last if this situation is not handled properly. I would appreciate a direct explanation of what occurred and, more importantly, how your dealership intends to make this right and ensure there are no long-term consequences to my vehicle. I sincerely hope this matter is resolved professionally because I would prefer to continue doing business locally rather than take my future purchases elsewhere. However, I also believe customers deserve to know how situations like this are handled, and your response will determine whether I feel comfortable recommending your dealership in the future. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, John Potts 979 824-2615
