This shop was not our choice. The insurance claims adjuster found this shop for us without our knowledge. When we last spoke to our adjuster, he said he would call around and see who could do the estimate and let us know. On December 1 I received a call from this shop stating they had my vehicle and had just completed an estimate. we have had many family members and friends that have had bad results with the shop and this would have been the last place we chose to have any repairs done.

After picking up my car we noticed: -Scrapes on steering wheel from air bag -Gap passenger side of hood -Gap Scrapes on steering wheel from air bag -Gap on passenger side of hood -Gap in front passenger door trim -Unclipped, hanging wiring behind radiator -Gaps in corner pieces where windshield meets fenders - rubber trim doubled over and tucked under -Both wiper arms scratched -scuffed in front passenger door trim

My estimate was done on December 1. There were many times I would call and we’re told the vehicle would be ready hopefully by the end of the day or the next day and that was never the situation. When my grill was ordered and finally delivered approximately seven weeks after it was ordered, the wrong camera or no camera was sent with it. I was called to ask what kind of camera view I had for my vehicle. I’m not sure why I was called because they had the Vin number and knew what the car came with.

Job is not complete. Picked up the truck last Friday. Went out and license plate and bracket was not on the truck. I asked about it. Still in the backseat was the old bracket attached to the broken lower grill piece. Also the old broken fog light was still there. The license plate bracket wouldn’t snap on the new grill and that wasn’t discovered till right then. They were supposed to order a new one and I haven’t heard back yet. I have been sick since Monday and haven’t had a chance to address it.

Repairs were great but incomplete. Day of pick up I walked out and the front license plate was not on truck. Asked the guy where is the license plate. He opens the rear door and there sits exactly where I put it the lower grill with license plate attached, also still there is as the broken fog lamp. He takes the bracket and it will not fit on the truck. He tells me he is going to order the new part and I can come back and get the part then but still take the truck. That was two Fridays ago and I have not heard from MAACO. I was sick last week so I was unable to call them but evidently my part was not ever ordered.

Everything looks and seems great so far. Only thing i would recommend is doing better at updating the progress on the link given involving estimated completion date. Other than that it was a great experience with maaco
