Located in historic downtown Montrose, Mylar’s Auto Refinishing has been in the collision repair business for over sixty years. Since the beginning, we have provided consistent body and paint repairs to all makes and models of vehicles. We offer custom tint and computer-aided color matching using Glasurit 90, the premiere water-borne paint in the industry. Water-borne paint means less paint is used on your vehicle and less harmful VOCs are released into the environment. We also have computer-aided, laser-guided frame straightening on our Chief frame machine to bring your vehicle back to factory specifications. Our technicians are trained in the best repair practices according to I-CAR and ASE standards. We work with all insurance companies and fleet insurers, as well as rental car and tow companies, and also provide local pick up and delivery of your vehicle. The team was absolutely fabulous. Kind, courteous, and happy to answer questions. Easy to work with and always professional. The jeep looks wonderful. I hit a deer and you can't tell that there has ever been any damage. I highly recommend Mylars.
