Located in historic downtown Montrose, Mylar’s Auto Refinishing has been in the collision repair business for over sixty years. Since the beginning, we have provided consistent body and paint repairs to all makes and models of vehicles. We offer custom tint and computer-aided color matching using Glasurit 90, the premiere water-borne paint in the industry. Water-borne paint means less paint is used on your vehicle and less harmful VOCs are released into the environment. We also have computer-aided, laser-guided frame straightening on our Chief frame machine to bring your vehicle back to factory specifications. Our technicians are trained in the best repair practices according to I-CAR and ASE standards. We work with all insurance companies and fleet insurers, as well as rental car and tow companies, and also provide local pick up and delivery of your vehicle. I want to thank Zack for the great service he provided me. I was needing extended medical attention in Denver and was hoping the USAA repair of my right front fender, destroyed when I hit a deer, could be completed before mid-April when I will have to temporarily move to Arvada. The job was completed by 4/3. I was able to return the rental car from Arvada and pick up my car on 4/5. It was seamless. The detailed repair report was impressive and Zach explained parts of it I questioned. The car looks great! You'd hardly know I had hit a deer. When I noticed the left headlight lens was clouded and the right one was one clear, he had the clouded one buffed which made the difference much less noticeable. I highly recommend Mylars.
