Located in historic downtown Montrose, Mylar’s Auto Refinishing has been in the collision repair business for over sixty years. Since the beginning, we have provided consistent body and paint repairs to all makes and models of vehicles. We offer custom tint and computer-aided color matching using Glasurit 90, the premiere water-borne paint in the industry. Water-borne paint means less paint is used on your vehicle and less harmful VOCs are released into the environment. We also have computer-aided, laser-guided frame straightening on our Chief frame machine to bring your vehicle back to factory specifications. Our technicians are trained in the best repair practices according to I-CAR and ASE standards. We work with all insurance companies and fleet insurers, as well as rental car and tow companies, and also provide local pick up and delivery of your vehicle. The repair seems to be most satisfactory so far. The service was great. I would commend Zach for providing answers to my questions and never seeming frustrated with my repeated calls. I was navigating on new territory, not having had an accident before. The owner (don't recall his name) checked me out, "took my money", but explained things to me and had a pleasant sense of humor. One of the guys from the repair area even came out and taped the broken window of my borrowed car before I left. I felt comfortable and will recommend Mylar's service to anyone who needs it. The car looked great. I commend Zach for explaining the estimate, answering my questions, and not seeming frustrated with my frequent calls. I was navigating new territory, not having had an accident before. The owner (cannot remember his name) checked me out, " took my money", explained the receipt to me, used his appropriate sense of humor and made me feel comfortable. One of the guys from the repair department even came outside, covered and taped a broken window in the borrowed car I was driving. Top notch service!!!
