The shop business manager at Pacific Collision, Taya, has a true talent for presenting circumstances and unexpected/unavoidable setbacks in the repair process as just what they can be . . . Unfortunate, inconvenient and sometimes just out t of the control and sphere-of-influence of anyone who genuinely can and/or cares to take the necessary actions to rectify the initial emotional reaction to additional time without the dependability of having transportation. She took a situation that could have potentially been the final bad break that pushed my aggravation over the delay on an already surprisingly-extensive repair past my taxed threshold of tolerance. Taya, despite my unreasonable “demands” that Pacific Collision swallow the costs of off-setting my inconvenience, was able to help me see that the series of uncontrollable mishaps which forced the completion date to be delayed was not a result of any miscues by any irresponsible/incompetent member of the repair team. Rather, they were the unavoidable, lingering side effects of the world-wide COVID-19 epidemic. She conveyed a sense of empathy for my plight by following up regularly with progress reports to assure me my vehicle progress would be resumed ASAP; yet, she stood firm in not letting my unreasonable initial demands would not and shouldn’t have to be accommodated based on unforeseen circumstances. Very patient, sympathetic, and professional customer service skills, Taya!! Thank You for tolerating me😉
