Car was with plan b for over a month. If getting parts was an issue, they should have called me and asked if I wanted to come get the car until parts came in

The customer service was terrible. I was told I would get updated as my vehicle was serviced. I had to call after 1 1/2 weeks with no communication.

First off, Amanda was incredible. She helped me out so much dealing with the insurance company(who wasn’t very helpful at all). Called me with updates every time there were any changes or updates with the process. Definitely felt like we were on the same team and I appreciate that so much. Also, the truck looked awesome! A big thank you to the team that helped repair and get it looking new again. This is the 2nd time I’ve been here and if I ever need any more repairs done I will definitely be back. Thanks to all!

Our vehicle was hit sitting in a driveway, so no fault of our own. We got a quote and decided to drop it off for repair. 1st my 17 year old daughter took it in. When the vehicle was ready to be picked up, I was surprised that I owed them money. Come to find out, the lady in the office had her sign a form stating any cost not covered by insurance was our responsibility. I asked my daughter if she signed anything and she said yes, she told me I had to. They did not check to confirm her age, but later told us, she "looks" older than 17. The additional fees were only mentioned as a hypothetical and since the damage was not our fault, shouldn't have even been an issue for us. However, they knew good and well upfront that they charge over the industry standard rate. Per the insurance company we were working with, they base the $50/hr labor rate on industry standard in the area, PlanB charges $56/hr. According to the insurance adjuster, all other body shops work with them and wave the difference, but PlanB will not. In my case, the body shop wanted to charge me around $490 to pick my vehicle up. They stated they were able to work with the insurance company to get it down to $193; however, the adjuster stated when he left the shop, they had me owing the $490, so he was glad they took something off. I understand that the shop can set the labor rate, that is fine, if the customer is private paying, but this was not the case. So just beware and make sure you check what labor rate the insurance will cover and what the shop will charge you!! I only gave a 2 because the repair was fine, but the rest of the experience was terrible.
