Overall, it was a a very disappointing experience. I was referred by Calabasas Audi as Audi Certified body shop which is why i took my 2019 S5 Sportsback in for the repair. It took a month to repair which I understand given the current supply chain issues. My understanding is that the bumper needed to be reordered which delayed the repair process. What disappointed me the most is the lack of communication and the quality of work. For the communication part, I was told someone will give me a call once they took off the front bumper to assess any further damage and figure out the time frame it will take to repair the damage. That never happened. I had to follow up a couple of times to find out when the repair will be complete. For the quality of work, the day I went to pick up my car, there was a noticeable paint bubble on the front hood that I had to wait 30 or 40 min to be fixed. They had to use some sort of special machine to take out the bubble. Not sure how that was missing in the inspection. Secondly, the day after I picked up my car, I noticed the repair front pumper color was not a an exact match with the rest of the body and it was very noticeable. Not sure sure how that slipped through inspection again. I had to take extra time from work to take the car back to the shop for further inspection to confirm the paint difference. Now I have to take in my car again to fix the paint color difference. It will take another 4 more days to repair/repaint the bumper. It was close to $8k repair and given the Audi Certified body shop classification, I expected high quality work, clearly that didn’t happen.
