I am right about in the middle on this one. The body work and repairs done on our 2010 Forester were gorgeous. Absolutely amazing body work and the car looks better than new. We were so happy with the repairs. However, when replacing the headlights... The technician(s) knocked the coolant overflow hose off in the engine bay (it's right next to the headlights). After the first drive where the car warmed up to temperature, about a quarter of our coolant leaked out and covered the front of the engine etc. Lucky for me, I know the smell of burning coolant and pulled over before the car could ever overheat. But if it was someone who didn't know their stuff, they could have a blown engine and be looking at a 6000+ dollar service job. I had to leave the car at a gas station 45 minutes from my house overnight, get a ride home, and come back the next day with $50 in Subaru coolant. I was very dissapojtned, but like I said the body and repair work that was done was amazing. So, that's why I'm at about a 5/10. The technician(s) should be more careful next time not to disturb anything important in the engine. Dude to this slip up I'm not sure I will return for future body work despite the quality of body work done, and I cannot in good faith recommend you guys. Again it's a dissappointing and difficult situation to be in because the body and repair work was out of this world. But at the end of the day, who cares if the body looks good when you have a blown or permanently damaged engine? Photo of the detached coolant hose with coolant leaking out. Su Lam and team are amazing! We’ve had them repair two cars. During the process, Su manages all the logistics between insurance companies and communicates updates throughout the process. Getting your car repaired is such a hassle but Su couldn’t make the process any easier for the customer. I highly recommend Royal Automotive!
