The repair itself is superb! So were the staff. However, the scheduling of the repair was a perfect storm of trouble. I took my car in for an estimate to repair a dent in a fender caused by a windblown shopping cart. They certainly didn't appear to be too busy, but they said I needed to make an appointment. To be fair, this practice has become all too familiar in the collision repair industry. So I made the appointment and went to get estimated. That process went very smoothly. The estimate was thorough and satisfactory and was expected o take a few days. The trouble really started when I tried to get the repair scheduled. Select couldn't schedule me until 1 day after I was going to be out of town for 2 weeks. That meant I wouldn't pick the car up until over a week after it was scheduled to be done. Select wanted no part of that plan. So we settled on me taking the car in for repair a few days after my return, which I did. The repair took quite a bit longer than estimated, because key personnel were absent due to sickness. Overall, a 3 day repair took well over a month, partly because Select couldn't keep my car on the lot for a week or so until I could get back to pick it up and partly because of unavoidable staff illness. My rating for the repair itself is a 10. My rating for the length of time it took to repair is less than that.
