I dropped my Volkswagen Jetta off at the Serra Chevrolet on Monday, 12/1, to have my bumper repaired. When I picked it up on the evening of Friday, 12/5, my bumper looked great. But upon closer inspection, the bumper and rear right quarter panels that were painted aren't color matched to my car. It doesn't look like any blending was done, so the new paint looks a lot darker than the rest of the car. Also, when I dropped it off Monday, the check engine light wasn't lit up like it was when I picked it up on Friday. I went to have it scanned to see what the issue was and the verdict was that there had been a misfiring on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th cylinder. I'm not sure what can be done about the paint, but I just think that the check engine light to come on during the days that it's getting repaired to be kind of peculiar since they weren't woeking anywhere near that part of the car. Thank you, Belinda Black *** *** ****
