I had minor damage to my car after it was sideswiped while it was parked. But even minor dings can cause major headaches. Had to go through insurance. Had to rent a car while it was in the shop ... for which I was responsible for 20% of the charges. And I had to find a body shop that I was happy with since my previous body shop of over 20 years left me a bit unhappy last time I used them. Silverlake Auto Body was the second shop I discussed the job with. The first shop I went to said they might need to hold onto my car for up to two weeks while they waited for parts. That sounded crazy to me because I didn't understand why I had to leave my car for two weeks while we were just waiting for parts. The guys at Silverlake Auto Body basically explained -- a bit indirectly, but I got it -- that they needed to pull the car apart to do the complete estimate, and it didn't make sense for them to pull it apart and then put it back together so I could drive it and then pull it apart again once the parts arrived. That made sense to me. Ultimately, I just liked their vibe. They assured me they would really try to expedite my car repair since it was pretty minor. So I left them my car and crossed my fingers. Three days later the job was done. All of the replacement parts were in perfect shape. And on top of it all, they detailed my car ... like detailed so well the car hasn't looked that good since I drove it off the dealer's lot the day I bought it. Hopefully my car won't need any more body work done, but if it does I am bringing it to Silverlake Auto Body.

Nobody likes to have to take their car to Silverlake Auto Body Repair, but if you find yourself in that situation, there is NO BETTER PLACE to go! These guys are amazing. They do genuinely perfect work, are kind and thoughtful, and have a professionally run shop. Unfortunately for me, I've had to see them twice in the last two years. I always say goodbye - I don't hope to see you again soon, but I also really mean, "You guys are the best! Thank you so much."

The BEST!! Brought them my 2020 s3 after it got hit and they gave me back a 2025 rs5. Just kidding!!
