Smitty's Auto Body was established in 1961 and has been a respected name in auto collision repair ever since. The 9,000+ square foot facility is fenced, well lit, and has secure storage and parking. Smitty's Auto Body's state of the art equipment includes unibody/frame alignment machines with 3D laser measuring technology, ensuring that vehicles are returned to original manufacturer specifications. We have a downdraft spray booth, which is adjacent to a separated clean room/prep area. This provides the cleanest environment possible for refinishing operations. Smitty's offers a lifetime warranty against any defects in workmanship. Our technicians have achieved a minimum I-CAR GOLD CLASS certification. We strive to protect the environment by ensuring EPA approved safe practices are in place and followed stringently by each employee. The car is fixed and looks pretty good, although it took over three weeks, which is a ridiculous amount of time for the amount of repairs that are needed. Also, one thing that was very irritating is that they called me one day at 1 PM and said your car will be ready at five today so we went there at 5 o’clock to get the car only to be told that they needed another part and it was gonna be a few more days. That was a very frustrating. Lastly, when we ended up picking up the car, there was a towel folded on the front seat, and underneath the towel on the seat there is a lot of yellow discoloration, both on the seat and on the floor mat and we don’t know what it is and we washed it as best as we can but we are going to have to get the car professionally cleaned to get the stains out that they created. I would like Smitty’s or liberty to cover the charges for cleaning.

Everybody I spoke with at MAPFRE and Smitty's Body Shop was top notch, very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. It was a refreshing experience to be able to drop my car at Smitty's and have it fully repaired as it should be and cleaned, a few days earlier than they originally told me. As far as I know they had no issues dealing with MAPFRE nor did I. I would say both Smitty's and MAPFRE exceeded my expectations. William G.

When the accident happened, I was so distraught with the damages done to my car. I have to say that Jeff and staff are the nicest people to work with. I can’t describe how happy I am with the results. I swear it drives better than before if that’s even possible. If ever we need repairs, I will only go back to Smittys.
