Based on the issues I would not recommend SWC. Mostly because of there being contamination in the paint and now if fixed I will be out of my vehicle for multiple days again. They will have to replace trims piece again when the clips break during the removal.

For 4600 dollars I expected more professional work. I’m still debating on posting this online because I’m completely surprised by the lack of attention to detail, it also seemed that Juan who worked with me in the office was also surprised by his body man’s lack of attention. I showed up twice to pick up my vehicle. The first time I noticed the trim piece on top of the tailgate was not installed properly. It was obvious and an easy fix, no big deal. The second is where the main damage was. Behind the panel I could see where they pulled the dent out and it must have ripped. Not a surprise based on the damages. It was obvious they had welded it, which is to be expected, but there was no attempt to clean up the welds behind the panel prior to painting. You could still see the welding wire sticking out of the weld. To my surprise it wasn’t even coated with something to prevent rust. When I showed Juan he said we will take care of it. I left and said I’d pickup be vehicle the following day. When I arrived I looked at the spot which was still uncoated, but his body man managed to coat the strut and everything else up in the panel. I pointed this out to Juan again and he went to go get his body man who said it was hard the get up in the hole but somehow after I waited another 30 mins he managed to get up in there and spray the spot correctly. To cap all this off yesterday when I pulled my jeep out for the first time since I got it back I noticed that there’s spots underneath the paint that appear to be contaminants, more than likely dust that was not cleaned off properly prior to painting. I will be reaching out once I get back in the country from work…

I thought Juan was professional to work with and he kept me updated. He was willing to work with my schedule and help me with getting additional quotes for recoating the tailgate. The one thing I’m unimpressed with is the fact that all of these mistakes were not caught earlier on. There needs to be more quality control especially with paint. The two other issues are very minor in comparison.
