Trubilt Auto Body was founded in 1949. It began as a small shop with only two repair stalls, but was quickly established as one of the finest shops in the Chippewa Valley. In 1997 Lynn and Jerry Salter purchased Trubilt Auto Body. The shop is now one of the largest and most reputable in northwestern Wisconsin. We staff, on average, 20 employees while offering 21 repair stalls, two prep booths, one cut-in-booth and one state of the art paint booth. In the fall of 2010 Trubilt Auto Body changed to Trubilt Collision Center and with that came a new logo. While the logo and look of our name may have changed, the Salters are very committed to maintaining the reputation of top-notch service, quality repairs and great customer relations; this is why Trubilt has been the choice of the Chippewa Valley for over 60 years. Then, in the fall of 2018, Trubilt Collision Center expanded its brand to the growing city of Altoona, Wisconsin.

In this day age its hard to find people who really care about you and the quality of work they do all of the people at trubuilt have that quality and they should be proud of themselves. Luke and his team made everything easy and seamless and my truck was repaired to perfection after a fairly heavy deer hit and back to factory specifications as is their policy being OEM certified with multiple brands. I would have thought all of the scratches from flying debris and hail damage from the storm would have been fixed but only the dents were fixed

I had an outstanding experience with this dent repair shop and couldn’t recommend them more highly. From the moment I dropped off my car, the communication was excellent. Kyle was incredibly responsive—he checked in with updates almost every single day and was always receptive and patient with any questions I had. That level of transparency and care made the whole process stress-free. Not only was the dent repair done to a high standard, but they also went the extra mile with the detailing. My car was hand-washed inside and out, and they even tackled the baked-on bugs that had been stubbornly stuck on the exterior. It clearly took real elbow grease to get those off, and the car looked fantastic when I got it back. They also provided a rental car while mine was in the shop, and it drove and performed great—no issues at all. Best of all, the entire job was completed in less than a week. I was honestly impressed with how quickly and thoroughly everything was handled. I’ll be telling anyone and everyone I know about my experience.
