Tucson Auto Collision Center is a family owned and operated , Assured Performance Certified, I-CAR Gold Class collision repair facility. The shop has been in our family since 1993 when we first moved to Tucson, AZ. We have enjoyed living in the beautiful Sonoran desert for the last 23 years and have become a part of the community. My car was being repaired for almost 4 months, and while I understand that there were several unanticipated damages, it seemed to take a ridiculously long time. Additionally, no one ever called to update me on the repairs. I had to call multiple times to attempt to get any information whatsoever. When I would talk to someone, I would get the same answer EVERY TIME of “hopefully we will have it back to you in the next few days”. It seemed as though I was left in the dark almost the entire time. It wasn’t until my car had been there almost 3 months that they offered me a rental. When I finally picked up my car, I found several paint chips that were not there before, lots of dirt specs underneath the paint leading to a terrible paint job, and a large discrepancy in the panel gaps between the hood and front panel of my car (the drivers side being significantly larger than the passenger side). Henry is the only person I spoke with who ever offered any apology or amendment. I appreciated him greatly, but other than that my experience was terrible. The only reason I even was able to give 3 points was because my car was at least clean when I got it back, and because Henry offered to waive my deductible.

Henry was the only helpful contact I made. While everyone else was friendly, they gave me very mixed communication regarding the status of my vehicle, and from February (car dropped off in January) onward, they would constantly tell me I would “hopefully get my car by the middle of ‘next week’ or in a couple of days”. I was left in the dark almost the entire time with little to no updates given.

I had to check in multiple times to check on the status of my vehicle. I was told on multiple occasions that it would be ready and never was except for the last time. I am curious if I would have been notified if i hadn’t called.
