Car was repaired to full satisfaction; no problems at all there and we would definitely come back again. We were disappointed in that we asked to have the hood back, just in case it would ever be needed; it was noted on the envelope that we put the keys in when we dropped the car off Sunday night. When we got it back home tonight we noticed several very bad dents, gouges, and scratches on it. We understand it wouldn't be handled with kid gloves, but the point of keeping it was so that if something happened to the current one down the road when the car was older, we could just bolt the old one back on. With the new damage it would now need to be repainted. I am guessing the person working on the car had no idea it was to be saved (probably not a very common request) and dealt with it as he normally would with something going to the scrap pile; when I asked Don on the phone about it he seemed surprised at the request, so it was already probably in the scrap pile. Long story short; comment on envelope missed.
