I am so thoroughly pleased I chose Vince's Auto Body. It is just about two hours from where I live but from the time I stepped in the door for the initial estimate, I felt welcomed and cared about. I say cared about because the gentleman who did the estimate knew it would be weeks before he could take the car so to ensure I was safe, he spent several minutes securing the fender and loose electrical unit. WOW! I left with the feeling I could trust this establishment and that sense only got stronger when the car was there and getting fixed. I also want to greatly applaud Michelle the office manager. She was always patient and courteous even when I got confused over my rental car reservation and the completion date. She walked with me in rain and hail to show me the work that was done. I will add that my last experience with a shop in Kingston was a disaster and took countless phone calls, including one to the VP of Auto in your headquarters, and over a month's time to get my car back the way it was prior to a deer hitting me. In fact rather than accept his mistake, the shop owner and adjustor tried to sell me a $1200 used transmission. I realize this is a review on Vince's Auto Body but the fear and worry of bringing my car in anywhere was through the roof until I stepped in to 125 Smith Street and was treated with respect and care. USAA - you have shown me why I feel so lucky to have a father who fought in Vietnam and served our country. You have given back by working with this fine provider who, one and all, helped me more than they know as my father is terminally ill and relies on me completely for all his medical and domestic needs.
