Repair looks great! The driver assist features (lane assist, travel assist) of the VW don't seem to be working as well as they did before the repair. When I let go of steering wheel on many of Pocatello's streets the car immediately tries to depart from the land in travel assist mode. When in Lane Assist mode and I start to cross out of my current lane, most of the time I am no longer being warned of this departure from the lane I was in. However, the short drives I have taken on I15, these features appear to function properly. I am attempting to decide if I have been deluding myself that these systems ever worked well on many of our in-town streets. I am fairly certain that on some of the streets I have been test driving on to evaluate these features that they did function quite better earlier. Because I seldom ever used these two features in town, I am not sure when they actually started working worse though. The only feature I always use in town and on the highway (Adaptive Cruise Control), continues to function properly after the body repair.
