The final bill was $700 over the estimate. That is ridiculous for a front side and minor incident. I thought the original estimate of over $1600 was quite high. I sent pictures of the damaged area to my niece. She and her husband ran a body shop for 20+ years. She thought, and he thought that it could be buffed out. The minor bend in the front could be pushed back out and pin hole in the metal could be filled in with dope, and then thesection painted and coated.

My contact person was very nice so this is not directed at her, but my car took 2 weeks to complete and I dropped it off after they already received the parts. When I went to pick it up, the peice above my wheel well was not fully pushed in, they did fix it immediately which was good, but something like that should have been caught before I saw it. I examinationed the side that had damage to make sure everything looked good and it did, but when I got home I noticed on the other side where the bumper was put on, they did not paint a peice of it. This is more than frustrating and seems like such a big oversight. There was also grease all over my driver side handle ( this is small in comparison, but certainly worth noting). This is a brand new car, just hit 3000 miles. I had faith that this shop would put care and attention to detail. I am certainly disappointed.
