ABOUT BAY CUSTOM AUTO Located in the heart of Newport News, Bay Custom Auto has been operating since 1981 in the collision repair business. Starting as a mechanical repair business in 1971, Bay Custom moved to its current location in 1981. The original founder, Ron George, built a company based on both integrity and quality. As one of the oldest remaining businesses in Denbigh, the auto body shop has grown and improved every year. The paint looks good, but when installing the trim back around the front door, there are two places where it’s not put together properly. One is on the bottom of the door. I’m not sure if it is missing a clip or not. The only other thing I saw is that on the hood of the car it looks like something clear was dripped on the hood that does not come off.
