I appreciated all of the updates and the car looks great. Straightening the license plate/holder was a nice touch too. Thanks

My Experience

We have a considerable scratch on the hood of our car that was not there when we brought it in for repairs.

Here the text I sent to Progressive on 6/16 about my experience with Caliber: Kim, I just wanted to take a moment to pass along my frustrations with Caliber Collision. When I dropped my truck off they told me it would be a couple weeks before it would be done and I was fine with that. Last week they did a great job of updating me with texts. Midday Friday I got a text the the repair was done, but they still needed to do some calibration, and it would most likely be done today. This was good news. A couple hours later they texted and said it was done and ready to be picked up. This was great news. I rushed home from work and my daughter drove me over to pick it up. When we pulled in I instantly noticed the front bumper was crooked. I showed it to a Caliber employee who said he saw what I was talking about, but obviously nothing could be done right away since it was late in the day. I said that was fine, and that I'd rather wait for it to be done right. Today I never received any update texts. I called around 1:00 and was told me it would be done in about an hour. And asked if wanted a call. I spoke with my daughter to arrange another ride from her. An hour went by, then another, and I eventually got a text around 3:30 saying it wouldn't be done today after all. I'm not sure if they’re just rushing for some reason, but I'm very disappointed by the fact that they would try to give me my truck back last week when it was instantly obvious to me that something was wrong. It's basically a brand new truck that I paid a lot for and I expect that a professional body shop would want to make it look like it should. God forbid I'm ever in an accident again, but if I am I would think twice about going to a shop recommended by Progressive.
