I was disappointed with the service with Carstar. I was hit by the family member of someone who owns a Carstar so rather than go through insurance I was told my car could be repaired by them. Iâve used a family owned auto body shop here locally and have never been disappointed.

Iâm giving them a 4 because I felt communication was poor. Rather than proactive communication from the shop I called daily to check on the status. There were some unforeseen delays due to issues with some equipment. When I went to pick up my car, the car was brought around for me but no one walked out with me to show me the work that was done. Also, a few days later I discovered that the power to my passenger side door (door locks and windows) was not functional. When I tried to go back to a location that was closer to my house (which is under same ownership of shop where the car was repaired) there were no technicians available to fix it. I have a hectic schedule and rely on my car for work so itâs not easy for me to bring it to the shop during the hours a technician is available. It still has not been fixed.
