First, when I arrived, after telling Demus to take as much time as he needed, the car was not complete (emblems and splash guards missing - were they just going to let me drive away if I didn't notice? I can only imagine the shortcuts under the hood that I couldn't see..). They made me wait and didn't offer to pay for another uber there and back even though I asked. When I arrived, the car was filthy, inside and out. My 50K Corvette had clearly been driven in the rain and mud the day after the hurricane (and was in sport mode - UNACCEPTABLE); there was compound all over the paint, and micro scratches/blemishes from where they had run it through the automatic wash (the car is black, you never do that with any like-new car, much less black). Demus told me it had a four wheel alignment but when I get in the car my TPMS is flashing because my right front tire was low (don't even know how to fill a tire?). There were little things everywhere, like not matching the tire cap color, scuffs on the inside of my driver's side door that weren't there previously, and mud literally everywhere (even though they tried to pass it off as "clean"). I would ask for a free oil change or detail, but there is no way I would every trust Central Houston to TOUCH my car ever again. They did do a nice job putting back in the after market Z06 grill and the clear bra (not surprising since clear bra installation is third party)

Demus was rude and tried to pass off the shop's mistakes as my lack of knowledge or that I hadn't noticed before the accident. He mentioned that he had "a new corvette" and things weren't perfect, like because I had bought mine used it was already in poor condition. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. The car was in sport mode when I picked it up, and it was obvious someone had been hot-rodding in it the day before in the mud. Unbelievable.
