Not recommending at all. Poor experience. Again, I totally understand that discoveries are made along the way. But it seems Hunter did a shoddy job at looking over the car thoroughly and providing a more accurate original estimate of both time and cost; a lot of time was lost with the incorrect headlight being ordered or delivered and with the grill still not here three weeks after dropping the car off (this should’ve been first thing ordered as it’s external!); Hunter not seeming to know exact timing of parts and repairs (and didn’t seem interesting in seeking this info but rather was Ok guessing) when this whole thing started to go long; general culture lacking of customer concern and thankfulness.

I dealt with Hunter from the estimate to two days prior to getting the car back. He was reliable in that he contacted me every Tuesday and Thursday with an update. However, his first estimate of just over $5k was way off the final cost of $14k. He also indicated the repair would take about 4 days - ended up taking 30. I realize that things get discovered during disassembly, but he took no more than 5 minutes to look at the car, snap a couple photos, and provide me an estimate on the first day we came by - and gave me that estimate just a few hours later. During the updates, he continued to indicate that the completion was only a few days away - it was about to be final assembly then paint then sensor calibration. Then about two weeks in the wrong headlight was ordered/received. Then at the three week mark, he informed me that they were still awaiting parts - the grill and hood seal. There was a huge disconnect between Hunter and the parts dept and shop people - either he wasn’t asking but just guessing, wasn’t asking the right questions, or was getting false information from others. Not sure what, but I felt very strung along twice a week. I was patient until told three weeks in that key parts - like the grill - were still not here. Finally at the end, I picked up the car with the hood seal still awaiting arrival. “Should be here any day -we’ll call you as soon as it comes in” I was told. After a week and a half, I finally called - the parts dept thought it was in but couldn’t find it. Four hours later I was called “oh yeah, we found it - it’s here.” Not sure I would’ve ever been called as promised. Not sure if the parts dept is disorganized or undisciplined, but this hood seal experience makes me think that might be part of why my repair went from 4 days to 30 days with a key part still not here (lost or not ordered) three weeks into the repair.

It really depends on how the issues with my vehicle are addressed. If things are fixed and my vehicle is repaired correctly I will likely recommend. But if there are still problems after having the opportunity to address I will likely not recommend and escalate the issues with appropriate channels. I understand mistakes happen, but how the mistakes are resolved means a lot more in creating trust with customers.

There is paint overspray on my windshield, the trim pieces are not fitting together and there are gaps and the door is catching because the trim isn’t correctly reinstalled, scuffed after market parts were used on a brand new vehicle, and their is new paint damage that wasn’t there prior to the accident. I’m bringing the car back on Tuesday to allow the remedy of these issues. But I don’t know why they were not addressed before the car was returned to me.

I wish there was a 0. I chose Charlie's because I wanted to support local business. This has my first auto accident, first claim on my auto insurance in 30 years of driving. This repair has been a painful experience.

Upon picking up my vehicle I instantly noticed no front end alignment was performed. Which an alignment was supposed to have been done. My front left headlight did not work (I repaired that at home myself. I was simply not plugged in), front left turn signal not functional even though they replaced signal lamp housing, front brush guard was not replaced and is clearly bent which I was told would be replaced if damaged, front led lightbar and led fog lights all pointing random directions which were displaced due to impact of accident, power doorlock switch/system not working correctly, two puncture marks and small slice left in the leather of the passenger front seat from them piling the disassembled parts from the front end in the cab of the truck.

Somewhat cordial, and they did check in weekly. Granted my vehicle was there for nearly a month. The service writer that helped me was clearly lacking automotive knowledge, and had no desire to take care of me as an individual customer. He forgot crucial steps, and did not do anything to address any underlying safety issues or drivability issues from the collision prior to the cosmetic repairs.
