Well the repair itself was perfectly fine but now my window won’t roll down and it had never had that issue before leaving my car at the shop. I will be calling tomorrow since the shop closed shortly after picking up my car and I didn’t notice the window not working properly until I got home.

The job is not complete yet, because we are waiting on a few parts. They have made the old parts look, almost as good as new. Looks great. They have returned the car for us to use, while we wait for the trim parts.

They did beautiful work. Last place I had body work done for my other vehicle, Todd’s, in Springfield they were sloppy and missing fasteners when they put my veg hockey back together.

When I bought the car and up to almost the day of the accident the engine compartment was almost showroom clean. The engine compartment was returned to me very dirty. Like the car had been next to someone that was using a grinder and had collected shavings/filings in the compartment. They informed me that it had been detailed and from the outside it looked it. Inside was by pretty clean only a couple spots that had collected filings but overall inside and out looked great except the engine. Also sounds a little funny mechanically I would like to have it looked over again for mechanical soundness. I will have my mechanic give it an inspection.

My bmw was not picked up today due to many debris, scratches and discoloration in the new paint as well as my body line on my trunk being rounded out instead of a straight crisp body line like it was beforehand. Both the technician and the manager i spoke with tried to dismiss my concerns at first and reassure me why it would turn out the way it did. I was informed my vehicle would return back to it’s original state prior to being hit and unfortunately that was not the case. My back brakes sound as if the emergency brake is on at all times, I’m unsure if it’s the cleaner that was used on my tires or if it is from the force used to replace my back bumper. Also whatever cleaner was used on the inside of my vehicle has left my front seats and center console discolored with a thick film on it. I was informed by the manager that he will contact the insurance company to see if they will approve these fixes and that I may have to speak with the insurance because he doesn’t think they will. It should be between the body shop and the insurance if it needs to go that route as this is the body shops mistake, not mine.
