Overall it’s fine. I’m not thrilled that because of the mirror used to replace the broken one my blind spot detection feature is gone but that’s not the end of the world. I am however pretty unhappy about the fact that my cross traffic detection no longer works. My cross traffic detection worked when I brought my car in and I’m not sure why it would no longer be working. Neither of these things were mentioned to me when I picked my car up. Despite my car taking almost a month to complete because of parts coming in bad or being broken (no big deal accidents happen) I was far more understand of the time line because of their regular text message updates.

We rushed over to pick up our car after work, very excited to get it back. When it was time to pay we were told that there was a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. This was the first we had heard of that. We offered to pay with cash and were told that we couldn't do that. Check, NOPE. The only form of payment that didnt incur a fee was debit card. WE DON"T HAVE A DEBIT CARD! We're only talking about $30 in this case since we are waiting on the police report and the insurance company will reimburse our deductable. For the pleasure of choosing you to do the repair over another local body shop it cost me $30!?! Are you kidding me? I have referred people to this shop for years. We have always had great service and have NEVER had to pay a surcharge for simply PAYING YOU! I expect that you will see the error of your ways and reimburse my $30 and correct this practice. Otherwise, you will have lost a loyal customer and I will take advantage of every platform at my disposal to inform as many people as I can of your rediculous and shady buisness practice, and encourage them to go elsewhere for their repair needs.

While the customer service was fine, it was overshadowed by the fact that I was charged a 3% surcharge for paying my deductible with a credit card. It’s a matter of $30 that put a bad taste in my mouth and serious doubt that I will ever use or recommend Classic Collision again.
