I was told the deductible would be $1000 - which I knew was wrong but I went ahead and paid in order to get my truck. I was just going to call the insurance company to have them reimburse me. They ended up charging me $1999 - and put my bank account in the negative. When I called them with the adjuster on the line telling them it was a mistake - they refused to refund my money and charge me the $400 I actually owed. They told us to work it out among ourselves - which was dumb because obviously they were going to get a chargeback from the insurance company.

I was told to bring my car in anytime after the 5th - which to me meant I could bring it in in the 7th (Saturday) - turns out they meant anytime on the 5th. They wouldn’t let me leave my car on The 7th and my appt got pushed back to the 17th.
