The paint finish on this repaired 2019 Ford Explorer is that “difficult” three coat “weird” metallic translucent finish, which constantly varies in appearance under all sorts of lighting conditions. I’m VERY particular (and have done a little spray painting myself)……..The finish on this 2019 Ford Explorer is that peculiar looking metallic 3-coat finish, it varies in appearance, depending upon lighting levels and direction, etc. Prior bodywork was performed on the curb by that huge car dealer, Napleton Ford and Cadillac, located in Libertyville, IL (they did a left rear quarter panel ding repair, and a hood replacement under a Ford recall). Believe it or not, Collision Solutions seems to have done a better job with color match and paint application than Napleton Cadillac, where their paint shop for the Ford dealership is located!!

Difficult to REALLY evaluate the “ substance “of the significant repairs needed to our vehicle in multiple locations……. Rear window, removal, taillight scuff buffing, serious, right rear, ding removal, left-front fender replacement, and much more To me, it is difficult to comment on the repairs since much of it I have hardly seen, or even looked at at all yet. However, all aspects of the repair itself, the quality of body-man, the expert spray paint application, and, particularly the excellent communication of Rachel in the office was greatly valued and appreciated! .

We had a different vehicle, a Ford Taurus X (driver side door replacement) repaired approximately four years ago at the North Chicago, Collision Solutions location, all aspects of that repair process was also exceptionally outstanding! We had a different vehicle(a Ford Taurus, X), repaired, at a different collision solutions location on Sheridan Road in North Chicago approximately four years ago, all aspects of the repair, and administrators process ALSO was outstanding!
