When I took my car for an estimate, I specifically requested an alignment check because I had the alignment performed approximately one month prior to the accident. My intent was to confirm that the impact had not affected the alignment and to have this documented for my records. When I picked up the vehicle, I was informed that an alignment check was deemed unnecessary because the accident did not cause additional damage. While I respect professional judgment, I requested that this decision be noted in the final report for transparency and documentation purposes. Unfortunately, this request was declined. The refusal to document my request and the reasoning behind it was disappointing and affirmed my belief of having a Pemco-affiliated repair shop handle the repair. Would I use this repair shop in the future? No. Would I recommend it to anyone? No.
