Since we were rear-ended in a city 3 hours from where we live, the day before we flew to a memorial in Colorado, I was so grateful up front that the team allowed us to drop the car off even before the claim was filed at the other driver’s insurance co. This saved me a lot of worry while being away AND it saved me so much time by not having to wait to get started until I returned from CO. The text messages were helpful, especially the personal texts from Jillian that kept me up to date and knowing I could correspond with her and asks questions about timing or parts was a relief. She was great to work with. Also, the 2 times I was in the office, the team were all so nice and helpful. The work looks great and the car drives like I know her to drive. Thank you, all!

What a complete clown show. I chose Crash Champions because they were recommended by my Toyota dealer. I'll be sharing the details of my experience with the dealer and recommending that they vet some other shop instead. It took three weeks (20 days) to repair some scuffs on the rear driver-side panel of my Tundra. No dents or damaged metal. Just paint and replacement of a scratched tail light. Completion was delayed repeatedly. They also did not inform me when I dropped the truck off that they would have to remove my Diamondback tonneau cover (which was not near the damage). So I then had to make another trip from work to give them the key to the cover. That's a whole other chapter to the saga: they couldn't wait another FOUR MINUTES to get the key when I called on the way, stuck in traffic. They told me to leave the key in their "dropbox." I arrived at 5:04pm to a dark, locked, empty office (so glad I didn't inconvenience them). I saw a lockbox HANGING OPEN on the post by their front door. Naturally I thought this was the box they told me about and that they had LEFT IT OPEN for me. I put the key in and locked the box. The next day they called asking if I had left the key! It turns out there was SOME OTHER BOX where they expected me to leave the key! Why was there a lockbox by the front door and WHY WAS IT JUST HANGING OPEN WHEN I ARRIVED?! They finally figured out how to open their OWN lockbox and commenced the repair. THEN their paint queue was backed up for 4-5 days. Then the truck was supposed to be done on the following Wednesday, but Wednesday afternoon came with no communication. I had to call to learn that it wouldn't be ready until Thursday or Friday. Friday afternoon they said it would be delayed AGAIN because it still had to go OFFSITE for calibration of the blind spot detection radar. I told them the truck doesn't even HAVE blind spot detection! They checked, acknowledged that I was right (go figure), and said it would be washed and ready for pickup at 2pm. I arrived at 2:20, paid for the repair, and then waited OVER AN HOUR in their office for them to bring the truck around. They said it was because they had forgotten to reinstall the Diamondback! After more waiting they told me they couldn't get the Diamondback back ON properly and they would need to keep the truck until Monday! They gave me a ride home (at least). Later that day they called to say they figured out how to reinstall the Diamondback and they offered to deliver the truck to me (at least). After delivery I discovered that they had washed the truck and/or left it out in the rain WITHOUT THE DIAMONDBACK OR ANY OTHER COVER ON THE BED so everything I had in the bed (normally protected by the Diamondback) was drenched. I WILL say that the repair looks good right now to the naked eye. When the manager delivered the vehicle, he said he was sorry for the delay. I told him there had been MULTIPLE delays. He still just apologized and said the crew was doing the best they could. "They just keep sending us more cars," he said. He made no offer to make things right in any other way. And that still doesn't explain the compounding delays and abysmal communication. He drove off and then I opened the tonneau cover to discover that everything in the bed was drenched. What a display of bumbling incompetence and disregard for the customer.
