Got a small scratch on front grille due to hit and run when parking at garage parking. Brought the car to Dan’s Auto Body for scratch repair. It was excellently done, deep scratches disappear as if it never happened.

The repair was good. I just felt like I was being the run around to get my car back. I got a text on a Monday morning at 8 saying my car was done and I would get a call when to pick up. Hear nothing so I called at 3 left a message. Then at 4 I. Get another text saying my car was not ready. Then I get a call that one of the people was rushed to the hospital, so my car would not be ready. So I called on Wednesday to see when I can get my car. I get told they will check on it. I get a voicemail saying it will be done between 1-2 but do not come till I get a call. Never reached a call. I call again because at this point I leave in three days for vacation and need my car. Finally I get to pick it up the day before I leave. I understand that stuff happens but I just wish they were more straightforward and not have gave me the runaround with getting my car back.

I have been trying to avoid postings this but I keep getting text and email to leave a review. They didn’t snap the piece back together on the inside of my car and one of my children stepped on it one time and cracked it. I got the run around about picking my car up after it was done for almost a week. From the system sent me the wrong text to someone being hospitalized. I understand stuff happens but communication is key. I got told my car would be done between 1-2 and was told to wait for a call I never received. I had to call the following day to say I need my car by a certain day because we were leaving to go away. The service part of getting the side of my car fixed was great the communication sucks. I have all the text and voicemails to prove all this

Finish looks great, but work done on the drivers side door caused the door to no longer stay open on its own, which is a nuisance now as it xo tinues to slam into my leg every time I go to get in and out of car. The repairs timeline also was not well communicated and the rental car was not available as originally communicated.
