All went well except I feel I received a rather nebulous answer about the low gas mileage, which the dash meter consistently reads 17 - 20 mpg. I checked it afterward by measuring miles driven vs gasoline used and that came up at 28 mpg. This is what is shown on the new car sticker for in-town mpg. That’s ok. So, what is wrong with the dash mpg indicator then? Thanks.

I wasn’t satisfied with the response to the gas mileage concern I had. The dash indicator shows 18-20 mpg but actual miles driven per gallon shows 28 mpg. 28 mpg seems low but I was told the dash indicator was very accurate. I guess I’ll ignore the dash mpg indicator and accept 28 mpg.
