Told Jackson that my left caliper was dragging. Mechanic changed left caliper and said nothing was wrong with the right. Had to bring truck back in for $1100 complete brake change.

The reason for my rating that I have Freedom GMC, is that the body work done was excellent. But at the same time, when I picked up my vehicle there was body shop dust throughout the whole inside of my vehicle. I contacted Tristan in the Sales Department, and his response was the customer must request that the vehicle be cleaned prior to returning it, and if not it is not done. Tristan stated that the dealership would clean and detail my vehicle, in which I declined. I say this because I had my girlfriend’s 2026 GMC TERRAIN in for detailing and the job that they did was totally not done correctly. Furthermore I feel that when my vehicle should have been cleaned without me bring it to the attention of the dealership. To me I feel that was poor customer service.

The problem is, the city of Richmond has only 4 body shops and when I needed one, they were all terribly backlogged. They're probably all good. But I'd have to say, "Pick whichever one has room for your car in its shop!"

Mechanically, the work seems perfect. Electronically, imperfect. I've had to make an appointment with Cronin Toyota's Service Department to fix the "set the clock" function so that I can escape from it and access other dashboard functions. I don't know who will pay for this additional work.

I'd give a "10" rating for good intentions, but at one point they lent me a loaner car that I was frightened to drive. It was a 2013 Chevy with only one forward gear that worked. It would rev up to 6500 RPM, which propelled the car forward at 30 MPH, but it would go no faster than that, so that if I'd had to speed up to 40 MPH to avoid a collision, I'd be dead. I'd call that loaner a lemon.
