I recently picked up my Hyundai after bringing it in for hail damage repair. This included the hood being replaced entirely. However, I noticed the hood was covered in scratches that varied in size and severity. At first, I thought it was just one or two. As I looked the hood, I noticed it was several and many of them were severe enough you could see white underneath the black paint. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was so disappointed that the new hood was completely covered in scratches, and that the scratches weren’t even buffed out or fixed before giving me the vehicle back. My question primarily being, is this normal to replace the hood with one that is scratched? Had I known this, I may have not taken my car in to begin with since I am so disappointed to see all these scratches.

Hail damage repair was completed, however the “new” hood that was installed was covered in scratches. I’m currently waiting on a call from the Mustang location since it’s closer to my house, as these scratches need to be taken care of. I’m disappointed to have to take the car back a second time, which includes taking time off of work and coordinating a rental car etc. I’m hoping to hear back soon.

When I reviewed the items damaged by hail it looks like two spots where not smoothed out or replaced. The drivers door silver edge - trim and the driver's passenger door silver edge panel still has a dent. Minor spots

The vehicle went in the shop for several scratches that penetrated the surface down to the primer. The repair was done very well

Great staff. I went in the shop with no appointment, but the technician said the had a few minutes before his next appointment and immediately went out and observed the damage gave me an estimate told me to bring it in the next day to start the process. The whole interaction took less than a half hour.

I have actively told every person who had asked how bad this experience has been and have an open claim discussion with state Farm about transferring to a different location for final repairs. I believe insurance fraud has occurred.

Improper re-assembly. Window is whistling, visor is broken. Smeared stuff on the windows. Missing pieces that hold plastic in place. Did not communicate the increase in estimate price over multiple increases. No phone calls, no communication outside of the automatic updates.

Went in for hail repair - left with no dents. Paint has buff swirls. Interior re-assembly was poor. Rear door/window is whistling. Sun visor was broken. White filmy stuff on everything.

The car was late, not detailed, broke my emergency call system, panels do not feel properly affixed, and your technician broke my windshield. Management said they would make it right, so we are in the process of that.

1st... Ashlyn was super helpful, sweet as can be, and always communicating with me through the entire process of my repair. She went above and beyond to make this as smooth as possible. 2nd... that same service had not changed when I picked my Dodge up , and some else was there to get me checked out. He called and was super polite, checking out was explained to me and I was back on the road in no time. 3rd... I was not expecting my vehicle to be cleaner than when I dropped it off! I was only expecting the area that was fixed. But Gerber Bethany crew not only did the outside all around but also cleaned the inside windows, vacuum the floors and more. I was super appreciative of that. Overall, Bethany Gerber in my opinion went above and beyond getting me right and did it super fast. Thank you all for your kindness and skill of your craft!
