We usually go to the same company but the location is in Melbourne. We went to this one because the reviews were great and they had a sooner opening than the one we usually go to. Time constraints were an issue. I will not make that mistake again and resume going to the Gerber Glass and Collision in Melbourne where we have never been disappointed by repairs or service.

I was especially pleased that they were conscientious enough to have contacted me regarding a problem they found with the trunk of my car, rather than knowing about the problem and putting everything back together as it was. Over time the damage the problem would have caused would have been extremely costly. I was however very disappointed when I picked up the vehicle to see that the vinyl detail that had been ordered and replaced was the wrong one. When we brought in the vehicle, we told them the vinyl details were custom, and would cost more. They replied that no, they could get them from the factory. The vinyl details that were added were not at all the same as on the other side of the car and I was shocked that no one noticed, since the ones that were on that side when they removed the original part off of the vehicle were there to show as an example. They took pictures of the original custom vinyl detail from the other side, and said they would contact me regarding them. Tomorrow will be a week since I picked up the car and I haven't heard from them yet.

While the person I spoke to at the front desk was pleasant enough to me, she seemed annoyed when speaking to my daughter who was calling on my behalf. In addition, the only time they actually contacted me instead of me having to call them was when they needed permission from me to make unrelated repairs. Even then, they expressed that one of the unrelated repairs was to be priced out and a call was supposed to be made to me again to authorize which part for what price. I never received that call, but I was glad the repair was made.
