After someone attempted to steal my 26-year-old truck, a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 with immense sentimental value, I was devastated by the damage done to the steering column and ignition switch. When other body shops declined to take on the repairs, likely due to the truck's age and the challenge of sourcing replacement parts, the Gerber Collision & Glass location on Gracern stepped up. Their willingness to take on the job gave me a sense of calm and reassurance during an otherwise difficult time. The team at Gerber demonstrated top-notch communication throughout the process, keeping me informed every step of the way. Although I wasn’t in a rush to retrieve the truck since I have other vehicles, their care and dedication to restoring it made the experience truly pleasant. The communication between insurance, Gerber, and I was excellent. It's almost like I didn't have to worry about anything at all. The first thing you think about when you get into an accident is 'how am I going to get this fixed?' Gerber took all the worry away and made my car look brand new. It's like nothing happened!
