There is an area on the bumper of my car that I thought would have been addressed and repaired. It was scratched at the time of my accident.

I’m deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism. When we realized that the windshield is damaged during the time the car is at the location and pointed that out, the employee just rejected to take any responsibility. When the vehicle is damaged while it was with you, you should take responsibility and fix it.

It took entirely too long to fix my vehicle and when my vehicle was towed away it had a full tank of gas when we picked it up it was empty. I am very unhappy with GERBER and I won’t use them again.

I specifically had conversation around my car's calibration and was told no issues were found yesterday when I picked up my car. However today when I backed my car into the driveway the rear object detection is not working

I am uncertain if I would recommend gerber. Based on how they address my issues will determine if I recommend them in the future.
Repair Quality - 1.5/5.0 -
I got my car back and was told there was no issues found during calibrations that had to be addressed. The next day I was backing into my driveway and the beeping to detect did not happen for my son's bicycle. Also, the armrest in the rear seat is now broken which was not prior to me dropping my car off at Gerber

No one has followed up with me since reporting my issues.

The repairs appear fine. The complaint is with the sense of urgency, poor project management and lack of communication. The initial estimated repair time more than doubled due to reported order-receiving inefficiencies, gaps in parts knowledge, and the absence of effective project management. The 13-day estimated repair ended up taking 29 days (on our primary family vehicle). I have detailed the timeline of events below. Timeline: 5/18/26: Estimate Appointment @ Gerber Collision -- took photos and scheduled drop-off for repair 5/26/2026: Appointment to drop off Atlas for repairs 5/27/2026: Text update stating 6/10/2026 estimated completion date 5/28/2026: Text that repairs were underway and the repair would take about 13 days, estimated completion date 6/10/2026 6/3/2026: Text that the repairs were at the halfway mark, estimated completion on target for 6/10 6/4/2026: Text confirming repairs were still on track for 6/10/2026 completion 6/9/2026: 12:21p.m. I called asking if we were still on track and to see if there was any way I could pick up at the end of the day 6/9 or first thing on 6/10. I was told that it was in painting and that my car would likely be ready closer to the end of the day 6/10 but possibly not until 6/11 morning. (Seemed reasonable) 1:33p.m. Text received delaying completion date to 6/12 6/11/2026: Text received delaying completion date to 6/15 (*no explanation why) 6/15/2026: 11:05am Cliff (my husband) called to confirm pickup and was told the vehicle was 'in reassembly and should be ready today'. 1:19pm Text received delaying completion to 6/17 3:41pm Cliff called to inquire and was told the wrong bumper / part# was received and a new one had to be ordered/shipped. (*Why were part #s not checked and verified prior to painting and/or reassembly?) 6/17/2026: 9:12am Text received delaying completion to 6/19 9:18am Cliff called, no answer 6/19/2026: 8:15am Cliff called to confirm completion and was told it was 'in reassembly and should be done today' 9:48am Text received delaying completion to 6/23 10:00am Cliff called and left a message requesting an explanation and for a manager to call 10:06am call returned from the receptionist with a message that the 'lower cover' wasn't received and it should be complete on Tuesday of next week. (*Again, why were parts not verified when received?) 6/23: repairs completed, car picked up

Took way too long and poor communication
Repair Quality - 4.5/5.0 -
I submitted the review / feedback already but keep getting the texts The repair itself is satisfactory but more than doubling the estimated repair timeframe due to operations inefficiencies is unacceptable. Workflow and project management improvements are needed to ensure parts and inventory management are accurate at the time of receipt, not at reassembly.
Customer Service - 2.0/5.0 -
See first comment - automated texts are not communication substitutes when timeframes are extended / delayed. Explanations are needed.

We visited 5/20/26 and received an estimate and a 3 to 5 business day turn time. We made an appointment for 6/1/26 to allow plenty of time to order the door and waited until after the memorial day short work week. We left the car Sunday evening for the 6/1 appointment date. Unfortunately there was a mix up with names and tickets and I was told Wednesday when I called in that they didn't know what to do with car since no ticket was set up. So, the door had not been ordered. We were able to sort it out over the telephone, but I had pick up the car that day and then take it back the following Sunday evening for work to begin 6/8 with a 7 to 10 business day turn. After 10 bus. days the car still wasn't ready due to a weather stripping. I am unclear what this wasn't discovered and ordered much sooner. We finally got the car back 6/22. I do understand things happen and everyone was polite but I do feel there could have been better comminication. The difficultly around all of this was that it was my mother's car and her only transportation (other than myself and I work full time across town) and she did not have a rental. So having to make multiple trips and waiting 15 days was a little complicated.
