I will be telling everyone about my experience. All I wanted was the truth about when my vehicle would be fixed and the work to be completed. This work was half way done at best. I'd be embarrassed if I worked on my vehicle. Have some pride even if you don't like what you are doing.

Repair Quality

Just got my vehicle back after being there for 2 days. My Escape had been there for around 3 weeks the first time. There were a handful of problems after I got my car back and I question what was actually done. The back bumper has a chip in it that wasn't there when dropped off on Monday. The hood still isn't on correctly. This "repair" was a complete disaster. I will never go back to Baker and will be attempting to get them removed from State Farm's list of body shops they recommend. The repair was botched from the first email.

Customer Service

The emails were honest this time.

Our only problem was that we requested not to have the front plateput in the bumper( the car came from tx requiring a front lic plate) but the information eas not passed to the body shop and the plate holder was added anyways. No big deal but our request was overlooked. We are happy with the body work

Tough call. Good folks. Quality repair. But I think the handling of the chip would put a friend/colleague in an awkward position. (This should have been QC'd)

Repair Quality

Body and refinish work looked great. But there was a fresh chip in the paint on the edge of the repaired fender. When I brough it to Steve's attention, the assumption was made that is was a prior rock chip that was unfortunately cleared over.

I was given a completion date of 5/29 in three seperate status updates. The latest coming on 5/28 at 515PM. Find out my vehicle will not be ready until the following Monday. Call Monday and find out it will be Wednesday. I then get my vehicle back on Thursday because I was out of town and the work done wasn't very good. Good wasn't aligned correctly, paint was incorrect, and other issues. No clue how this passed QA. If it were not for State Farm requiring the work be attempted again I would not bring my car back. I will be recommending no one I know use Baker Collision for repairs.
