Initial repair estimate included a completion date of Nov. 7. Based on this we declined a rental. While daily updates were initially appreciated and indicated all was on track for that date, on November 7 there was still a missing part. Completion date was pushed out first 1 week then 2. I understand that delays may happen but you should not indicate that things are on track when you don’t actually have the parts and there is no way the car is going to be completed on time. Work completed appears to be well done but communication needs to improve and not rely primarily on automated messages.
