There were six runs in the clearcoat. The surface of the two doors were not even as if the Bondo used was not sanded appropriately. The corners at the gaps were rounded. I have notified the shop and the manager is supposed to call me back tomorrow. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied by a “professional “ body repair shop!

The car was returned to my wife. When I got home, I noticed that there were seven runs in the clearcoat. 2 where 3” teardrops. 2 where 4 inch horizontal melts and several other waffle runs. Also the Bondo was put on so unevenly and not sanded correctly that between one door and the other if you put a straight edge on it , it waffles back-and-forth 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. The edges of the doors were rounded off. I have talked to the manager and he said he would supply a rental car and redo the car. As you can imagine this is a huge inconvenience and disruption yet again in our lives as this is my son‘s car, he travels back-and-forth to school with. I do appreciate management, stepping up and being willing to fix it, but I question the actual workmanship of the technicians in the shop and whoever the shop manager is that approved to work after it was done.

My wife dropped the car off, and when she did, the estimator was short and kind of in a hurry. When she went to pick it up with my son, he could not answer his questions based on his estimate and so he had to get the paperwork to review what had been done. What had been done was not what he said in the beginning would be done. He rushed her along and she got home around 4:45. I got home at 5 o’clock looked at the car and called and wanted to talk to a manager. As I know it, shop hours don’t close until 530 according to their answering service. But at 5:10, no one picked the phone up and I could not leave a message because the inbox was full. .
