The communication with the shop was the issue. I got a call at 11:30 on Friday that the car would be finished that day, but I could pick it up on Monday. We talked for several minutes about picking it up on Monday. I got the automatic text ON FRIDAY from Jake’s that the car was finished. I got the automatic text from State Farm ON FRIDAY that the car was finished. My father-in-law took time out of his day to pick it up on Monday afternoon and it was not finished. When my husband called the person on the phone said that it was “in essence” finished. What does that even mean?? We had to go back on Tuesday. No one with a full time job and 3 kids has time that kind of thing. Just tell me to come Tuesday.
