Kayser Automotive Group
In operation 101 years.
Kayser began selling and servicing cars back in 1925 on East Washington Avenue in Madison. Paul A. Kayser, a farmer from Fitchburg opened the dealership to sell and service the new Ford Model T. Thanks to the loyalty of so many satisfied customers and the dedicated & effective work of so many Kayser employee's we grew to be the largest Ford dealership in the state. Kayser has since grown to sell Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Isuzu Trucks, Ford and Lincoln brands in four locations, Sauk Prairie, Pulaski, Watertown and Madison. When Paul Kayser began selling the Ford Model T in downtown Madison, the city was really more akin to a small town. Although I have always thought of Madison as having that small town feel, it has grown tremendously and very successfully since 1925. However, we still strive to provide small town friendliness while maintaining the low, volume pricing model Kayser has been known for. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Sincerely, Sean Baxter President

My vehicle was supposed to to be done on Aug 21 then I got an email on August 25 saying it wouldn’t be done until September 4. I did receive my vehicle yesterday and am disappointed in the work they replaced and painted the front bumper and grill but left the hood untouched with numerous scratches that should’ve been repaired. I assumed with Kayser having my Truck that it would’ve been taken care of. The inside cab of the truck looks great though and I appreciate the attention to details.

I would recommend because Casey was excellent to work with! I would however give them the complete story of what transpired.

I would have rated higher but I had to pick up my vehicle three times. First time the work was not complete (still a scratch and dent in the rear passenger door as well as bubbling in the paint on the hood, was told this was corrosion that it came in with and my vehicle did not have those bubbles when it came in). Second time picking up, a new scratch appeared on the passenger door on the opposite side of the vehicle where the original damage occurred. In addition, the driver side mirror made an awful grinding noise each time it moved. Casey was very responsive to all issues but honestly, a thorough final inspection of the vehicle by a supervisor or manager would have caught these issues and I wouldn't have had to make the extra trips.

Casey was awesome. Answered any question I had and apologized profusely for the long delay (8 weeks) in completing the repairs. He also dealt with the issues discovered at pick up promptly.

The only thing I had a problem with was when I was given a loaner car, I was just give the keys to it and no one showed me how it worked and since it was a newer car a lot of it was computerized so it took a lot of figuring out. I wish someone had given me the keys and walked me out to the car and showed me like the basic.
