Everything was great as far as the repair was concerned. However, during the estimate process, I mentioned to the inspector that I'd likely take my vehicle to a different shop for repair, and that I was there for the benefit of my USAA claim. The estimate came back surprisingly low, and I could find no other shop that would match that price. Subsequently, I returned to repair the vehicle at Premier, and miraculously, the repair estimate, and the amount billed to USAA, increased by 60%, putting the repair cost more in line with the other estimates I received. While the cost to me was the same (my deductible), USAA was charged more, and this bait-and-switch pricing had the effect of forcing me to use Premier, because by means of your relationship with USAA, you can increase the repair price after the fact. It may have been totally legitimate, and as I said, I'm very happy with the actual repair, but what happens gave me the impression that Premier dealt with both me and USAA dishonestly. For that reason, I would not likely return.
