Trubilt Auto Body was founded in 1949. It began as a small shop with only two repair stalls, but was quickly established as one of the finest shops in the Chippewa Valley. In 1997 Lynn and Jerry Salter purchased Trubilt Auto Body. The shop is now one of the largest and most reputable in northwestern Wisconsin. We staff, on average, 20 employees while offering 21 repair stalls, two prep booths, one cut-in-booth and one state of the art paint booth. In the fall of 2010 Trubilt Auto Body changed to Trubilt Collision Center and with that came a new logo. While the logo and look of our name may have changed, the Salters are very committed to maintaining the reputation of top-notch service, quality repairs and great customer relations; this is why Trubilt has been the choice of the Chippewa Valley for over 60 years. Then, in the fall of 2018, Trubilt Collision Center expanded its brand to the growing city of Altoona, Wisconsin.

There was a lot of miscommunication due to different people that were involved in the experience. First male employee I showed the car didn't seem like the back portion of the car that was involved in the accident was a big deal and made me feel insignificant. Second employee who walked the car with me was different and she was the one who wrote down all the additional repairs I wanted quoted separately. Kyle was the one who did the quote and communicating so he wasn't the one who walked the car with me so it was missed that the front bumper was cracked and needed to be included in the repair where I assumed that was apart of the quote. I understand there were a lot of parts to the process but it just seemed like it could have been improved with ONE person handling the entire process and not three.

I absolutely loved the communication! That can not be understated. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. Although the process was a little longer than I would have liked, having a loaner was an unbelievable plus! The job they did on my vehicle was perfect! This was my first and, hopefully, only time going through this process, but Trubilt made it seamless. I really can’t recommend Trubilt enough!
